Expert panelist addressed the past, present and future of building sustainable communities.  The FIABCI Seattle Pacific Northwest Council recently held a sustainability panel for real estate professionals in the Greater Seattle Area. In attendance were real estate professionals covering development, engineering, brokerage, law, design, government, and education. Nicole DeNamur with Pacifica Law Group and Affiliate Instructor at the Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies at the University of Washington moderated the event.

The panel included Alan Levine expert in affordable housing and an Instructor at the Runstad Center; Polina Zaika Principal Designer at MusaDesign and FIABCI Seattle Pacific NW Council Board Member; Dave Ramslie, head of sustainability and research at Integral Group; Sam Lai, the CMO and Co-founder of Green Canopy Homes; and Ryan Moore the Senior Planner for the City of Seattle Department of Planning and Development.

“Excellent topics and an outstanding panel of speakers! FIABCI delivers quality each time I attend an event!” remarked Lucia Thoreby, real estate consultant for the Homes & Equity Real Estate Group. The panel focused on all facets of building communities that last, are green and affordable to the areas where we live and work.
