Member in Good Standing of the International Association of Housing Science (IAHS). Chair and Organizer of the XXVII World Housing Congress in June of 1999 at San Francisco, in collaboration with HDNPC, College of Environmental Design, University of California, Berkeley, and IAHS.
As Executive Director of HDNPC and Developer of a myriad of Community Development Projects, experience of 35 years includes Affordable Rental Multi-Family, Single Room Occupancy Hotels, First Time Condominium Home Ownership, and Mixed Use Developments that include a 400-car public parking garage, Retail, Child Care and Social Centers. Developments have also included Historic Rehabilitation, Brownfield Sites Phase one and Two environmental assessment's and Lead-based earth removal. Financing experience is with Private Banks, Multi -Family Bond Financing, Community Development Blocks Grants, Section 8, Redevelopment Funds and Low Income Housing Tax Credits.
